Product Description

  • The Eire Ecology Rocket Box is a large-capacity artificial bat roost designed to provide long-term roosting opportunities where natural features are absent, limited or have been lost through development.
    Developed by practising bat ecologists, the Rocket Box incorporates a complex internal chamber arrangement that creates a range of thermal and humidity conditions suitable for roosting bats throughout the year.
    Constructed from exterior-grade plywood and finished with a durable cork-based coating, the Rocket Box is designed to provide long-term weather resistance, thermal stability and durability under Irish conditions.
    Suitable for ecological mitigation, compensation and biodiversity enhancement projects, Rocket Boxes have been successfully installed on commercial developments, infrastructure projects and conservation sites throughout Ireland.
